The Salutogenic Promotion Model For Training In HealthLindstrom, Bengt, Md PhD Senior Lecturer NHV Box 12133, 402 42 Goteborg SwedenSince 1987 some training modules at NHV (Nordic School Of Public Health) have been using the theoretical framework of Antonovsky's salutogenesis. There has been a process of improvement over the years. The evaluation over these courses has been more positive than the NHV courses in general. This presentation intends to present the core ideas of this educational model and exemplify this education in practice. The 1995 local election started a substantial reorganisation process where many municipalities now create multi-disciplinary organisational entities. The demand for support in this process has made HE-naer initiate a project on multi-disciplinary work for children and youth. ObjectiveThe aim of the project is to increase the competence on this type of work within the municipalities, and to systematically collect data from this work through deep evaluation. The approach will be action-research, and inspired by the network theory developed in industrial sociology. The project starts in September 96.
