OrganisersThe conference is organised by Nordic WHO Collaborating Centres in Health and Safety Promotion and their mother institutions at universities. The main organisers in Sweden have been the WHO Collaborating Centre on Supportive Environments for Health and the WHO Collaborating Centre on Community Safety Promotion at Karolinska Institutet, Department of Public Health Sciences, Norrbacka, Stockholm, Sweden. The Nordic collaborators in the Programme and Scientific Committee have been the WHO Collaborating Centre for Health Promotion and Health Education, the Research Centre for Health Promotion, University of Bergen, Norway, Tampere School of Public Health, University of Tampere, Finland, and Department of Social Medicine, University of Copenhagen, and representatives of Iceland and from the Nordic School of Public Health.
